Ensuring the Safety of our biggest asset, Our Employees

Safety and Planning

Safety is the first consideration we plan for and our exceptional safety record speaks to the measures we take to ensure the safety of our people, and the protections we ensure are in place for the public.

Our people are our greatest asset and we want them to be successful in their professional and personal lives. That's why we take every reasonable precaution to ensure the health and safety of our employees.

Our staff is trained and certified in our comprehensive safety procedures. Before stepping onto a jobsite, our skilled tradespeople, supervisors and labourers must successfully complete a minimum of six safety courses. In addition to these requirements, all our site supervisors and lead hands have successfully completed the IHSA Basics of Supervising, Workplace Hazards as well as First Aid training.

Our teams are educated by certified trainers in specialty facilities using the actual equipment they will use in the field.

Our practiced site supervisors and lead hands conduct regular safety talks, advising the crew of topics that are specific to the jobsite to ensure a safe work environment for not just our staff, but for other contractors, clients, residents and visitors.

Safety Audits

In addition to weekly site safety inspections conducted by our experienced and dedicated Project Managers, we have a third-party safety inspector conduct unscheduled visits to the jobsites to maintain adherence to our policies and ensure overall jobsite safety.
